Transfer questions, answered
Do you accept transfers from any online retailer?
Yes. Any licensed dealer or retailer can ship to us. We are already on file with most of the big storefronts.
How long does the background check take?
Most checks clear while you wait. If yours is delayed, we hold your firearm securely at no charge until it resolves.
Do I need an appointment for pickup?
No appointment needed. Come in any time during open hours; paperwork takes about fifteen minutes.
How long will you hold my transfer?
Thirty days at no charge. Traveling or deployed? Call us and we will work out a longer hold.
What if my firearm arrives damaged?
We photograph and document every arrival before logging it, and we help you work the claim with the seller.
Federal transfer requirements
All firearm sales are completed in strict compliance with federal law. Firearms are transferred in person at a licensed dealer, where the required ATF Form 4473 and background check are completed before any firearm changes hands.
